Now as an Author ...

So now.......as an Author...that is, in the role of an Author...with the first book in a series to be published from September 11, 2007, does one continue to write blogs?
Or as an Author, do I hold and withhold the treasure and remain mysterious, letting the publisher and/or publicist choose what goes up to the Net and what does not.
What of Tolkien, and CS Lewis...would they be blogging if they were writing The Hobbit or The Screwtape Letters today?
"Oh James, get over it! All there is is BEING"
(Would they make a ps, giving away the titles of their books? TOUCH THE OCEAN: THE POWER OF OUR COLLECTIVE EMOTIONS)
What would James Joyce do if he had the internet? Would Ulysses ever have been created? Or blogged out of all recognition?
